What to Expect

Your guide leads every step. Encounters are calm, on the animals’ terms and may be shortened or adjusted for their well-being.

  • Staff-guided at all times
  • No posing or coaxing animals
  • Photos welcome — be respectful

Dress Code (Required)

  • Layered tops; short/long sleeves or sweatshirts
  • Jeans/khakis only; no exposed ankles
  • Closed-toe athletic/canvas shoes or boots

Dress code protects the animals; non-compliant guests cannot enter animal areas.

Not Allowed

  • Hats, gloves, ponchos
  • Leather, vinyl, suede, down, fur
  • Non-prescription sunglasses
  • Backpacks, water bottles, dangling accessories
  • Jewelry (hoops/bracelets/necklaces)
  • Strappy/low-neck tops; shorts/leggings/yoga pants
  • Fuzzy materials (incl. polar fleece)
  • Open-toe shoes

Arrival

Arrive 10 minutes early; the sanctuary opens the main gate once per tour. Late arrivals may not be able to join in progress tours.

Park inside the fenced area. Please stay in your vehicle until a guide welcomes you onto the property. Restrooms are on-site.

Participant Policies

  • All visitors sign liability waivers upon arrival.
  • No outside food, drink, or gum inside animal areas.
  • Phones on silent; photography encouraged when animals are comfortable.
  • Respect guide instructions at all times.

Cancellations & Rescheduling

  • Full refund up to 72 hours before tour.
  • 50% refund within 48 hours; no refunds within 24 hours.
  • Rescheduling is subject to availability.

Weather

Wildlife comfort comes first. In rare cases we may reschedule due to extreme heat, cold, smoke or other safety concerns.

If we cancel for safety, you may reschedule or request a full refund.
